What a Dumpster Rental Costs in Greenwood

Most dumpster companies make you call for a price. We put ours on the pricing page instead, because a person shopping for a dumpster in Greenwood deserves a number without a sales call. Here's the full picture, including the parts other companies leave for the fine print.

The Posted Rates

Four sizes, four rental lengths, every combination posted. The 10-yard starts at $375 for 1 to 3 days and tops out at $469 for a full month. The 15-yard runs $440 to $569. The 20-yard, which is the can on most of our trucks in any given week, goes $469 to $599. And the 30-yard runs $520 to $699.

Every one of those rates includes delivery, pickup, and the disposal tonnage listed for the can: 2 tons on the 10-yard, 3 on the 15 and 20, 4 on the 30. Inside our service area, which covers Greenwood, Abbeville, Laurens, and the towns around them, there's no delivery fee hiding behind the rate. The number on the page is the rental.

How the Overage Works

The one variable is weight. When we haul your can, the landfill weighs the load and prints a scale ticket. If you're under your included tonnage, nothing changes. If you're over, it's $70 for each additional ton, taken straight off that ticket. Not rounded up, not estimated. A load that runs 400 pounds over costs a fraction of a ton, not a full one.

Most household jobs never touch the limit. Where people get surprised is dense material: mortar-bed tile, plaster walls, wet carpet, roofing shingles. If your project leans heavy, say so when you order and we'll put you in a can with enough included weight to start with. That conversation is free, and it beats a surprise on the invoice.

Why Longer Rentals Cost More

A can sitting in your driveway for a month is a can that's off the road for us, so the rate steps up a little at 7, 14, and 30 days. Fast-moving projects should take the 1 to 3 day rate, and it covers a weekend fine since Sunday-ending rentals get picked up Monday at no charge. Slow projects, estate cleanouts especially, do better paying for the 14 or 30-day up front than extending twice.

A couple of small numbers to round it out: appliances ride beside the can, not in it, at $25 each. Extensions mid-rental are a phone call. And payment is cash or any major card, with a person confirming the total before anything is charged. If you want the exact number for your project, call (864) 871-4290 with your address and what you're tossing, and you'll have it in one call.
