If the can sits on your driveway, your yard, a gravel pad, or anywhere else you own, there's no permit, no form, and no office to call. This covers the large majority of dumpsters we place across Greenwood, Abbeville, Laurens, Anderson, and McCormick counties. The 10-yard fits in a single parking space, which settles plenty of "it won't fit" worries before they start.
The permit conversation starts only when a can has to occupy public space: the street itself, a sidewalk, or a right-of-way. Around Uptown Greenwood, the tighter blocks of Abbeville and Laurens, and older mill-village streets, that comes up now and then. Every city and county office handles it a little differently, some with a form, some with a phone call, and requirements change, so the current answer always comes from the office that covers your address: code enforcement or public works for your town or county.
Arranging it is the customer's side of the job. It's typically a five-minute errand when done ahead of delivery, and a genuine headache when a complaint comes in after. Tell us where the can needs to go when you order, and if the only workable spot touches public pavement, we'll help you think through alternatives first, an angled set, a different approach, or a smaller can that fits the driveway after all.
